The Full Blog Of This Week:
The Hindu Way of Life
"Yat Pinde Tat Brahmande" suggests that the individual is a reflection of the universe, and vice versa. It highlights the interconnectedness and unity between the individual and the cosmos, emphasizing the idea that what exists within us is mirrored in the larger universe.
Reflection of the Week
Embracing the notion that there are no coincidences may lead to increased awareness, deeper understanding of life and gives a macro view of how interconnected we are with world around us.
Question Of The Week
Q - Why are there so many Gods in Hinduism?
A - Each god in Hinduism is a manifestation of one Supreme God i.e. Brahman, representing different aspects of life, nature, and the universe, allowing for a diverse and rich spiritual tradition. This belief system allows us to connect with the divine according to the differences in our personalities.
Do send us your questions through comments and we will try to cover them in our newsletter in coming weeks or through live interaction of Vanamali Mataji on Instagram.
Ayurvedic Health Tip Of The Week
Weight training is important for building muscle and bone, especially as we begin to age. We start losing our bone in our 30s, so the body should especially be supported in this regard sometime in our 20s, so that the habit is reinforced and in place before we start losing our bone. However, even if you are not currently weight training, it is never too late to start! Begin with carrying heavier groceries up the stairs, if you are able to, carrying a moderately heavy backpack whilst you go for walks, and working with a trainer to lift weights appropriate for your build. Building muscle, which helps to build bone, will ensure you age better, reducing your risk of fractures and osteoporosis.
