It is also a time when nature flourishes with the monsoon, mirroring the inner blossoming of the soul. Through fasting, introspection, and prayer, Shravan becomes a gateway to inner transformation. Q - If all this is Brahman - the source, the sustainer, and the dissolver - how can we train our mind to perceive unity in a world that appears so divided and fragmented??
A - To perceive unity in a fragmented world, we must train the mind through viveka (discernment) and dhyana (meditation). By recognizing the divine presence in all -people, experiences, and nature , we dissolve the illusion of separation. Regular self-inquiry and surrender help us see that all forms are just expressions of the same Brahman - Sarvam Khalvidam Brahma. Awareness turns the ordinary into the sacred.

The core values of Sanatana Dharma is a yearning for truth, light, and immortality. It is to move from untruth to truth (asat to sat), from darkness to divine light (tamas to jyoti), and from mortality to eternal consciousness (mrityu to amritam). It reflects the soul’s journey towards liberation (moksha), guided by knowledge, inner purity, and divine grace.

Relationships and harmony (sneha and samaadhaan) are valued over ego and winning debates. Choosing peace over pride reflects inner strength and wisdom. When we let go of the need to be right, we make space for love, understanding, and lasting connection. True victory lies in preserving the bond, not proving a point.

Ayurvedic Health Tip of the Week - An Easy Way to Detox
Sweating! One of the ways in which the body gets rid of toxins, heavy metals, and other unwanted substances inside it, is through sweating. For those of us who barely sweat, this could hence be a barrier to experiencing better health. If you have access to a sauna, a weekly sauna of around 20-30 minutes (unless otherwise contraindicated) is a great way to regularly sweat and help your body to detox. If a sauna is not easily accessible to you, exercising and building up a good sweat, with a shower immediately afterwards, is another way to support your body's detoxification pathways (although not as effective as a sauna).
