Hari Aum Dear Sadhakas,
In our modern, fast-paced lives, many tend to dismiss miracles as relics of the past - stories from ancient times or sacred texts. However, the truth is that miracles are happening all around us, every day, if we open our hearts and minds to them. When one lets go of the illusion of control and trusts in a higher power, life begins to unfold in miraculous ways. During a pilgrimage to Pandhapur, a sacred place long desired, Vanamali Mataji experienced a series of divine interventions, unexpected blessings, and moments of profound gratitude. This journey served as a reminder that when we surrender to the divine, life transforms into a series of miracles.
Jai Sri Vittala!

The Hindu Way of Life
In Sanatana Dharma, the seasons are seen as an integral part of the natural order and are closely linked to spiritual practices, rituals, and festivals. Each season carries its own significance, reflecting different phases of life, emotions, and energies. In Sanatana Dharma, the seasonal cycle is not just a natural phenomenon, but a reflection of lifeโs cyclical natureโbirth, growth, decay, and renewal. The rituals and festivals connected to each season promote a balanced life in harmony with nature.

Ayurvedic health tip of the week - Acute Urinary Retention
This is a condition that can happen when you are not able to pass urine, perhaps because of a very enlarged prostate (>50g). If one cannot pass urine within 30 mins of having pain, one should go to the emergency room. In these 30 mins though, trying to get as relaxed as possible may help becaues the act of urination comes about through a relaxation response (do not try to push and strain). Also take some antispasmodic herbs like Ammi visnaga or Piper methysticum (please speak to a herbalist or Naturopath to know the appropriate dosages for you). Lastly, apply heat to the area while sitting in a tub, or do a very warm sitz bath. If the urge to urinate arises, pass urine spontaneously and do not adjust position.
Our trusted Naturopath is: Dr. Poorna Menon, Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine
