Hari Aum Dear Sadhakas,
Beloved monkey god Hanuman - celebrating His life, this year on April 23rd. If ever you wondered why His name is Hanuman or how He is related to Sri Rama, Yoga, Pranayama or why He is called a stitha prajña - a termed coined by Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita - this week’s blog will answer all questions.
Let us be inspired by His wonderful presence and reflect on how perfectly Hanuman served the Divine in the form of Sri Rama.
Jai Hanuman!

Reflection of the Week
When we wholeheartedly trust that the Divine will see to our every need and take care of everything for us, only then can the flower of Divine miracles bloom. All we need to do is to do every action as an offering to the Divine without any expectation of results.
Question Of The Week
Q - How can we get bhakti?
A - In order to get bhakti, one must first have the knowledge or jñana of that which is worshipped - only by having the knowledge and doing everything as an offering to that Divine can the flower of bhakti bloom. Bhakti without jñana will turn into blind devotion or fundamentalism.

Ayurvedic Health Tip Of The Week
The Vital Force
The vital force is a strongly held priniciple in the practise of Naturopathic Medicine. It is the body's innate ability to bring itself back into balance when it has gone out of balance. This ability is especially noticeable in situations like when we sweat because it is too hot, when we cough because there is a microbe in our throat, when we have diarrhea because there is a microbe in our colon, when our skin repairs after we have cut ourselves, etc. This vitality is constantly running in our body, always trying its best to bring us back into balance. In the case of chronic illness, the vital force becomes blocked or dysregulated. There are certain barriers, environmental or otherwise, that are in the way of its best functioning. Our role is to identify what is in the way of our vitality malfunctioning and to dismantle those barriers to our health, so that we can step back into our healthiest lives.
