Question Of The Week
Q - What is “Nada” Yoga?
A - “Nada Yoga” is the classical term for the Yoga of Sound in the Hindu tradition. It is a path of exploration of our consciousness through sound. It is a stream of sacred sound that embraces Hatha Yoga, the occult linguistics of Tantra, and the spirituality of classical Indian music. The aim of the advanced state of Nada Yoga is to purify and harmonise the pranic currents in our body and create perfect health.

The Hindu Way of Life
The term "Vandanam" translates to "salutation" or "reverence," so when combined, "Vandanam" signifies one of the ways to express devotion to the Divine. As one of the nine forms of Navadha bhakti, it includes 1 - Praising the glories of the lord, 2 - Offering gratitude towards lord (we should thank to lord by prayers), 3 - Nivedan ( Never demand material thing to the lord) and 4 - Apologizing to the lord ( We should apologize for our faults to the lord).
Reflection of the Week
How someone views you is more a reflection of their own thoughts and assumptions than of who you actually are. It touches on the idea that our perceptions are colored by our own experiences and biases.
Golden Opportunity to learn Sanskrit
Sanskrit is one of the oldest living languages in the world. Studies done abroad show that children who learn Sanskrit are brighter and more intelligent and have better memories than other children. It is also known to be the best suited for Computers.
It gives us immense pleasure to introduce Atul Srirag who is Shiksha Shashtri and well qualified to teach the divine language of Sanskrit. He can be contacted at athulshriragkr@gmail.com
Ayurvedic health tip of the week
Advocating for Yourself as a Patient
In one study featured in the Annals of Oncology, "patients who rated their communication as incomplete or incomprehensible had poorer quality of life even 5 years after their diagnosis". In other words, understanding what your doctor says to you is SO important! If your doctor/healthcare practitioner communicates to you in a way that feels like a) information is missing OR b) you cannot understand what they have said to you - please advocate for yourself and ask them to give you as much clarity as you need. You are THEIR client. You have a full and complete right to understanding what their medical opinion is and what it means. You are paying for this service. Please reach out and ask for more clarity from them, or if you are finding it difficult to do so, seek out support from family/friends/other healthcare practitioners.

Astrology Tip of the Week
For those facing financial difficulties, try this remedy. During Ganesh Chaturthi, offer pure ghee and jaggery to Lord Ganesh as part of your rituals. Afterwards, feed ghee and jaggery to a cow.
Offering a garland of four or seven coconut also helps in completion of tasks which are pending for long time.
