EASTER UNVEILED: The Untold Journey of Jesus from Crucifixion to Kashmir
The Adiveda Weekly #146
Hari Aum Sadhakas,
Easter is often celebrated as the triumphant resurrection of Jesus Christ - a divine miracle that became the cornerstone of Christianity. But what if the story we know is only part of a much deeper, more fascinating truth?
This blog peels back the layers of conventional belief and explores a version of Jesus’s life rarely discussed in mainstream religious narratives. From mysterious gaps in the Bible to ancient records in Ladakh and Kashmir, Easter Unveiled takes you on a journey to rediscover Jesus not just as the Son of God, but as a wandering mystic, a seeker of wisdom, and perhaps even a sage who walked among us far longer than we imagined.
Join us as we re-examine history through a fresh lens, one that bridges East and West, faith and fact, myth and mystery.

Question Of The Week
Q - What is mindfulness, and how can I practice it?
A - Mindfulness is the practice of being fully present and aware of the current moment without judgment. It involves observing your thoughts, feelings, and surroundings with calm acceptance. You can practice it through simple techniques like focused breathing, mindful walking, or paying full attention to everyday activities. Regular practice helps reduce stress and increase emotional clarity.

The Hindu Way of Life
In Sanatana Dharma, practices like dhyana (meditation), pratyahara (withdrawal of senses), and smriti (mindful remembrance) cultivate mindfulness. Being present, detached from ego, and aware of one's dharma (righteous duty) reflects true mindfulness in the Vedic tradition. This is not just a technique, but is a sacred way of living.
Reflection of the Week
The constant resistance to pain and the endless pursuit of pleasure creates a cycle of craving and aversion, which lies at the root of suffering. The Bhagavad Gita teaches equanimity (samatvam), urging us to remain balanced in pleasure and pain alike. True freedom (moksha) arises when we stop reacting and start witnessing, embracing all experiences as part of our soul’s journey.
Mantra of the Week
ॐ असतो मा सद्गमय। तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय । मृत्योर्मामृतं गमय ॥
Om Asato Maa Sad-Gamaya |
Tamaso Maa Jyotir-Gamaya |
Mrtyor-Maa Amrtam Gamaya |
Lead me From the unreal to the real. From darkness to light and from death to immortality.

Ayurvedic Health Tip of the Week - Getting Enough Sleep Every Night
A good night's sleep does mor than refresh you for the next day. Did you know that when you sleep, a category of your brain cells (called glial cells) change in size, so that your cerebrospinal fluid (the fluid in your brain and spinal cord) can flush through more effectively, carrying away any accumulated debris/toxins? The process is literally like your brain getting a little wash through the night. The more time you are thereby able to spend in sleep, the more time your body has to engage in this process. Health tip #1 is hence to allow yourself as much sleep as you need to feel refreshed and rejuvenated the next day! Sleep cleans out your brain's debris. For many people, this is between 7-9 hours of sleep/night.
