The Hindu Way of Life
One fundamental principle of Hinduism is dharma, which represents the moral and ethical duties each individual must follow according to their role in society. It emphasizes living in harmony with the universe, fulfilling one's responsibilities with integrity, and striving for righteousness, ultimately guiding individuals toward spiritual growth and social well-being. This principle underscores the interconnectedness of all life and the importance of acting in accordance with one's true nature and purpose.
Reflection of the Week
It is important to cherish what we have while we have it. Life often reminds us of the value of love and connection through loss. It’s a gentle nudge to appreciate the present and the people in it.
Ayurvedic health tip of the week
Castor Oil for the Eyes
My favourite topical for dry and irritated eyes is organic castor oil. At night, I take a clean applicator and then put one drop of organic castor oil into each of my eyes. If my eyes burn, then I know that the oil has turned rancid or contaminated, as pure organic castor oil should not burn, but should instead feel very soothing. With regular application, one's eyeslashes will also become more thick and luscious.
