Question Of The Week
Q - Who is a healthy person?
A - A healthy person is one who is healthy in terms of physical, mental, and spiritual health which involves taking care of all aspects of your well-being. Physical health includes maintaining a balanced diet, regular exercise, and proper rest to keep your body strong and functioning well. Mental health involves managing stress, practicing self-care, and seeking support when needed to maintain emotional well-being. Spiritual health focuses on connecting with your inner self, finding meaning and purpose in life, and nurturing your spiritual beliefs or practices. By addressing all three aspects of health, you can achieve a holistic sense of well-being and lead a fulfilling life. Remember to prioritize self-care and seek balance in all areas of your health.

The Hindu Way of Life
Tapas, one of the four legs of Dharma, is the practice of self-discipline and austerity. Tapas inculcates inner strength, physical resilience, and spiritual growth, thus enabling individuals transcend their ego.
Reflection of the Week
It is important for us to have inner stillness and mindfulness so that we can connect with higher power or get spiritual guidance. By quieting the constant chatter of our minds through practices like meditation or prayer, we can create space to listen more deeply to the divine.
Ayurvedic health tip of the week
Respiratory Red Flags
As you understand your symptoms, it is important to differentiate potential red flag symptoms from those that are not as urgent. With respect to your respiratory system, some things to take note of are chest pain accompanied with shortness of breath, sudden swelling in one or both of your legs (especially after a period of bedrest or inactivity), and blood in your sputum/phlegm. If you find you are experiencing such symptoms, please reach out urgently to your doctor for the appropriate workup and to rule out any serious conditions.

Pilgrimage with Vanamali Mataji
In March 2024, Vanamali Mataji traveled to the state of Maharashtra and made wonderful experiences visiting both ancient and modern temples around Mahabaleshwar. Starting the Mahabaleshwar series is a visit to Janani Mata Mandir in the village of Bilar, close to where Vanamali Mataji was staying. Not only is the ancient mandir a place of wonderful vibrations, it also houses a beautiful portrait of Swami Samarth Akalkot Baba. Every house in the village focuses on one subject and anyone who is interested in a particular subject, can go to one of the houses, sit and read their books. We hope you enjoy visiting the temple with Vanamali Mataji.
