Hari Aum Sadhakas,
ADIVEDA, founded by Vanamali Maa of Vanamali Ashram, Rishikesh, is a trust dedicated to reviving the timeless wisdom of Sanatana Dharma. Rooted in the most ancient spiritual tradition in the world, it seeks to awaken awareness of Hinduism’s scientific foundations, profound rituals, and universal values. Unlike organized religions, Hinduism offers freedom of spiritual paths, yet over time this liberty has drifted into neglect of its true essence. ADIVEDA’s mission is to reintroduce these teachings especially to the younger generation through education, cultural preservation, and practical guidance. With initiatives like “The Hindu Way of Life,” the trust nurtures an understanding of Hinduism as a holistic way of living, embracing compassion, respect for all creation, and the vision of Vasudeva Kutumbakam “the world as one family.” By inspiring both Hindus and non-Hindus alike, ADIVEDA hopes to restore Bharat’s legacy as a global leader in science, culture, and spirituality.

Question Of The Week
Q - What is Shatru Bodh?
A - Shatru Bodh literally means “awareness of enemies” in Sanskrit.
In a spiritual and Dharmic context, it refers not only to recognizing external adversaries but also identifying one’s inner enemies such as anger, greed, ego, jealousy, and ignorance that obstruct personal growth. It teaches the importance of vigilance, self-discipline, and discernment in both worldly and spiritual life so one can protect Dharma and progress toward self-mastery.

The Hindu Way of Life
Swayambodh - “self-awareness” or “self-knowledge.”
It is the practice of turning inward to understand one’s true nature, duties, and purpose in harmony with Dharma. It emphasizes self-reflection, conscious living, and aligning thoughts, words, and actions with higher values. Through Swayambodh, a person moves from ignorance to wisdom, realizing the divinity within.
Reflection of the Week
Faith is the inner conviction that transcends logic and sensory proof.
It trusts in realities beyond what the eyes can see or the mind can fully grasp.
By holding this unwavering belief, one opens the door for extraordinary outcomes, turning what seems impossible into living reality.

Ayurvedic Health Tip of the Week - A Morning Routine
How do you begin your day? How you slowly wake your body up and introduce the experience of the World on a daily basis to your nervous system can dictate how the rest of your day unfolds. If you are able to arise before dawn and spend those dark hours of stillness in quiet contemplation/meditation, followed by a bath/shower, then yoga/exercise, and the setting of intentions for your day - then you are off to a good start! (On the other hand, if you wake up well past dawn, immediately look at your phone, roll out of bed and start work or a have a conversation with someone - you have forced the World upon your nervous system and body - without a period of adjustment - and the experience of your day can follow that same chaotic energy).
